The Jackfruit is a fruit native to Thailand that has not yet become popular in the Western world. One potential reason for this could be its large size; a mature fruit can often be bigger than a baseball.

Jackfruit can be a bit of a challenge to prepare, but it’s definitely worth it. When you cut it open, you’ll see large, pale yellow pods (or bulbs) that contain seeds and are connected to the fruit’s core.
