Chilli Powder

Chili powder is a mixture of different spices, such as cumin, garlic powder, oregano, and paprika. It has a red hue and a distinct flavor that many associate with chili con carne. While it includes cayenne pepper to deliver some heat, the typical ratio of ingredients is one part cayenne to seven parts of other spices – though this may vary depending on the blend.
