Natco Mung Dal, also known as moong dal, is a yellow-colored split pea lentil with a texture and flavor similar to toor dal. Its smaller size enables for quicker cooking speeds compared to other lentils of its caliber. The yellow lentil within is obtained from green mung beans which have had their outer layer removed.
