Originally from Iran, this princely fruit came down the Silk Road to the tiffin dabbas of our short break. Anar, we’ll have you know, is quite an old hat. So old, in fact, that its first sightings have been traced back to the Bronze Age. Maybe that’s why he’s so good at beating ageing. And today, with no fuss, no frills, no pollutants and no preservatives, its nectar has been painstakingly harvested and presented to you. It would be a disservice to call it just a drink. Anar is a liquid miracle.
